Hello, I’m Thomas.

Thanks for visiting. It’s nice to meet you.

About me

I’m an independent front-end developer who helps companies make beautiful web sites that work everywhere and for everyone.

I have been fortunate enough to live in a bunch of different places and work for a wide variety of clients.

I’m now Whangārei-based and have a big love for my family, hiking mountains, perusing museums, listing to music, and exploring the beautiful planet we live on.

The work I do

Over the years I have worked with a wide variety of clients from independent artists, architecture studios, cultural entities, right up to some of New Zealand’s biggest corporates.

Together we’ve created great digital experiences that are not only nice to look at and delightful to use, but also scale to size and are accessible to all audiences.

Writing accessible HTML, scalable CSS and modern JavaScript are my strengths. I mostly (but not exclusively) work with React and TypeScript and for almost all of my recent projects I built component libraries too.

I’m an advocate for web accessibility, conducting audits and providing hands on fixes and educational sessions.
